Here are our answers to some of the commonly asked questions.

- Please provide video file(s) for all videos and confirm if you have the original script(s)/caption(s) to give as references. Prices vary accordingly.
- If it is a word document or presentation slides, please include the document(s). Please also indicate which language you'd like us to translate the work into, as well as when you expect the work to be done. We will contact you as soon as we receive the email.
- Video subtitle translation is charged per minute of the video. Less than a minute will be counted as a full minute. Word/text translation is charged per word of the original work. Presentation slides are charged per slide.
We charge extra for urgent projects. Prices vary according to how big the project is (how long the project takes).
- Generally speaking, work that needs to be done within 24 hours is charged double;
- Work that needs to be done within 48 hours is charged an extra 50%,
- And within 72 hours, 25%.
After completion, changes within a reasonable amount will not be charged, while more extensive or difficult changes will be charged on a case-by-case basis.
Due to the pandemic, we were unable to host any onsite events from 2020 to 2022. As the country reopens and restrictions loosen, we expect to resume our seminars in 2023. We sincerely welcome all those interested to join us at the events.
ASPECT has hosted more than 10 translation workshops focusing on a variety of topics both online and on-site, all of which require careful planning and scheduling with professional lecturers, and therefore we are not yet able to host workshops on a regular basis.
We are expecting to resume our Korean and English Subtitle Translation Workshops in 2023. If you are interested in learning about other topics or themes, please feel free to send us an email with your suggestions. Once assessed, we would work to find and connect with a suitable lecturer to plan for a workshop.
Notifications of results are usually sent out within a month. If you have not received one for more than a month, please send us an email to let us know.
